- Programs where all ages are eligible
- Must reside in BC Lower Mainland (specific designated areas are provided on program page)
- No other financial resources or means to purchase new or used equipment
What Devices are Covered?
- Wheelchairs (manual and recliners, tilt-in-space) and specialty cushions
- Transfer aids, including lifts
- Bathing aids
- Toileting aids
- Beds and accessories (e.g. mattresses, rails)
- Walking aids, including: walkers, canes, crutches
- Grab bars
What Services are Available?
- Equipment loan (new and used)
- Maintenance and repairs
- Installation of grab bars
Procedure for Getting Access
- Referrals must come from a registered occupational therapist or physical therapists
- Application is made on behalf of the client by the staff in participating health units in the Lower Mainland
- Assessment for equipment may be requested
