Eligibility
- Programs where all ages are eligible
- Indigenous People
- Registered 'Indian' according to Indian Act, or the infant (up to one-year old) of eligible parent
- Resident of British Columbia who are within meaning of Medical Service Plan (Canadian citizen, permanent resident, present in British Columbia for at least 6 months)
- Ineligible if individual is covered by another third-party health insurance provided by the Federal Government or by a First Nations organization as a part of a funding agreement

- Cushions and protectors
- Lifting and transfer aids
- Low vision aids
- General medical supplies and equipment
- Walking aids and wheelchairs
- Orthotics and custom footwear
- Pressure garments and pressure orthotics (compression device and scar management)
- Prosthetics and supplies
What Services are Available?
- Delivery, maintenance, and repair of equipment
Procedure for Getting Access
- Prescription or written recommendation/assessment needed from authorized prescriber (e.g. physician or nurse practitioner)
- Provider will assess the applicant and if approved, submit a request for equipment or device
