Eligibility
- Programs where all ages are eligible
- Clients of Social Development and their dependents
- Individuals who have special health needs and qualify for assisted healthcare (Section 4.4 of the Family Income Security Act and Regulations)
- Must have need for equipment use in home environment
- Must have one of the following: valid white Health Services Card showing "SUPPLEMENTARY” in the basic health eligibility, “CREQUIP” (Convalescent/Rehab Equipment) or "MAEQUIP" (Mobility & Adaptive Equipment Loan Program) in the additional eligibility section; or a valid yellow Health Card showing “Y” under "OTH" in the "VALID ONLY FOR" box; or a valid yellow Health Card showing “X” under "SUPP" in the "VALID ONLY FOR" box

What Devices are Covered?
- Basic adaptive aids: basic adaptive ambulation aids, bathroom aids, transfer aids and others
- Complex adaptive aids: complex ambulation aids, bathroom aids, stability aids, transfer aids, and others
- Mobility aids: manual mobility aids, power mobility aids, and positioning aids
What Services are Available?
- Equipment loan, maintenance, modifications, and recycling (Recycling Program through Easter Seals New Brunswick)
Procedure for Getting Access
- A prescription form is required from an occupational or physical therapist
