- Has a physical, intellectual, neurological, sensory, and/or mental disability diagnosis
- Lawfully entitled to be in or remain in Canada with a permanent residency status

- Assessment and financial aid
- Repair and replacement of some devices
Procedure for Getting Access
- A healthcare practitioner (i.e. occupational therapists, speech language pathologists, physiotherapists, nurses or physicians) must submit a needs assessment and a recommendation to the disability support worker
- Two quotes required when equipment recycling is unable to meet the identified need
- AAS Coordinators will determine the applicant's needs based on the AAS capability assessment, discussions with the applicant and/or their representatives, and recommendations from a healthcare professional
