Eligibility

- Adults (18 to 64)*
- Have permanent disability or chronic health condition
- Unemployed or under-employed
- Eligible to work in Canada
- Not have received Employment Insurance benefits within last five years
- Reside in the Lower Mainland, Fraser Valley, Sea to Sky Corridor, or Sunshine Coast
- Working with a Case Manager

- Adaptive equipment/tools to train or perform job duties, including computers
- Communication aids
- Vision aids
What Services are Available?
- Assist persons with disabilities to prepare for, obtain, and maintain employment
- Financial assistance for training, self-employment, and wage-subsidized employment and adaptive equipment
Procedure for Getting Access
- Referral from Case Manager
- Self-referral may be considered - details to be provided by contacting a community coordinator
- Complete and submit Opportunities Fund for Persons with Disabilities Participant Information Form to the Opportunity Fund
